Mulawarman University is one of the universities located on the equator which has many priceless gems in the form of cultures and natural beauty such as the Mahakam River and its Tropical rainforest. Therefore, Mulawarman University became the "Center of Excellence on Tropical Studies". This wonderful of nature of Kalimantan, Which is Known as Borneo became the value for Mulawarman University to offer students around the world in Summer School activities. UPT LI (International Service) at Mulawaraman University together with the faculties organizes a summer school every year. The Summer School at Mulawarman University has the name of the Summer School BYLC (Borneo Youth Leadership Camp) 2023 program which will be held on 17-29 July 2023.
The programs offered at the BYLC 2023 Summer School include Lecture and Visiting Field Laboratory, City Tour and Outdoor Activity, and Language and Culture Immersion.
